:: The 12-hr Photoshoot! ::

So we were jus hanging out at ps, jus the 2 of us.. got a drink from mac's & on the way out, a woman (i wudn't say with a small frame) bumped my butt with her Gucci bag. argh. i walked towards my bf grumbling about Mdm Gucci. then my phone rang.

as i answered the phone i realised Mdm Gucci was walking bac in my direction again. i looked away & carried on to talk on the phone with my gf. when i turned ard again, i realised she and another fren was talking to my bf right beside me. i drifted away from my own conversation for a while to eavesdrop on theirs.

Gucci (towards fren) : "Hor, can hor?"

me & bf stares amused as they are jus standing there in our face, pointing at us, not talking to us.

Gucci's fren: "can la, can la."

Gucci (to us): “Hello, r u 2 a couple?”

bf & me nod in unison.

Mdm Gucci later motioned for us to sit down at a table at Mac's & i finally managed to tear my concentration away from the unengaging "conversation" and back to my telephone conversation to properly end my phonecall.

Then we sat down at the table, Mdm Gucci started to explain that she was in a bridal business & she was setting up a new company. So, she was looking for nice looking couples to do sample shoots for her tt will eventually wind up in the shop & at wedding exhibitions/fairs that the company decides to participate in.

She asks if we were interested to do a full portfolio for her as she had not been able to find a nice looking couple, instead, she has been picking out singles along the road to put them tgt in a shoot. which resulted in a lack of chemistry & not to mention, tt the "couples" didn't look like they were in love. haha. imagine how tt wedding photo looks like?! *yikes!*

and since we are not professional models, she offered to pay us in the form of photos. she will develop the entire porfolio for us in a wedding album, like a real wedding album!! & tt when we got married in future, she'll give us a 50% off all her services! Mdm Gucci was so nice!! hahah. and so, since it was an irresistable offer (she was desperate enuff tt she also gave my bf business to do on his part to make up for the lost time (a whole day!) of the photoshoot.) we took up the offer!

THE PHOTOSHOOT!

SO we turned up for the photoshoot yesterday bright & early (8.30am) at the studio. Honestly, i didn't think abt wat to expect. until when i saw the make-up artist & the photographer all rolling in. they didn't look like the kind of ppl who will do the kind of make-up/photo that i wud haf liked. *pouts* well it is free & i can't be the one choosing so let's jus get it over & done with ba!!

so she did my make up, did a couple of "images", i wore 4 gowns in the studio's photoshoot. my bb looked so dashing in his suits!! particularly the white one!! by 1pm we were tired from the grueling & awkward poses we were asked to do & our faces were becoming cramped from all the smiling.

when we stopped for a lunch break, we chanced upon the photos taken in the morning & wow! they were beautiful!! tt was when i perked up cuz it was realli a great job by the photographer & the make-up artist! so after lunch we carried on with the photoshoot in the studio before we changed, yet again, for the outdoor shoot.

SINGAPORE ART MUSEUM

i loved how the look of the feel of the plc is.. very nostalgic. we took a few photos there & we cudn't do it w/o ppl coming to congratulate us when they walked past. (like we were realli getting married!!! hahahah)

SENTOSA

then, we went to sentosa, it was like abt 4pm & the sun was HOT HOT HOT! imagine being in a gown on a hot sunshine day out at SENTOSA! man.. those were the hardest shoots to take, cuz i realli cudn't concentrate due to the humid & the heat.

then we changed out of our clothes into beach wear! we headed to tanjong beach (i think) & frolicked ard barefooted, smiling & happy.. acting like we were qin han & lin qing xia. wahahhahhaha. we cudn't stop laughing when we were doing the shoot there.

Lastly, FULLERTON

Where else to get a more beautiful shot of Singapore's city night. we went back to the studio & changed into our last gown/suit & hopped over to Fullerton for the last section.

when the photoshoot ended, we were realli relieved cuz we were dead beat from the photoshoot that lasted for 12 hours! (8.30am to 8.30pm) but i have to say, it was an amazing experience & bb & me enjoyed ourselves very much. :)

i jus can't wait for the album to come out. meantime i can only depend on my digicam for the stolen photos during the shoot tt was taken unprofessionally. hahah.

oh man, i am so in the getting-married mood!!!!!!
